Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Banana Bread Overnight Oats take just a few minutes to make and are loaded with nutritious ingredients like oats, ripe bananas, cinnamon, vanilla, pecans, Greek yogurt, chia seeds and milk for a healthy, filling breakfast!
We love overnight oats so much that I decided to come up with a new flavor: Banana Bread Overnight Oats! These banana bread overnight oats are creamy and loaded with protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and of course, the best flavor. I love a thick slice of banana bread and these overnight oats have a similar flavor. I can't wait for you to try them!
Ingredients in Banana Bread Overnight Oats
-Oats
-Protein powder (optional)
-Milk
-Greek yogurt
-Cinnamon
-Maple syrup
-Banana
-Chia seeds
-Pecans
The flavor of these overnight oats tastes similar to banana bread thanks to the cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup and very ripe bananas. I use 2% milk for my oats since it is creamy- any cow's milk or plant-based milks will work fine. For these overnight oats, I used quick oats but typically use old-fashioned oats so either will work. I wanted these to be very filling so I used protein powder but it is totally optional. How to Make Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Just mix all of the ingredients together, store in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight and in the morning, top with extra sliced bananas and pecans. These store well in the fridge for a few days and are one of my favorite things to make for meal prep for a busy week ahead.
My kids absolutely love overnight oats, even Adalyn who isn't a fan of most hot oatmeal. I love to customize our overnight oats all the time to switch up the varieties we are having to make it fun. I hope your family loves these as well.
