6-Ingredient Banana Bread is a delicious healthy, gluten-free banana bread that is whole-grain and packed with protein from collagen peptides for a sweet treat that only requires 6 ingredients.

We have a ton of oats on hand and what is better to make than 6-Ingredient Banana Bread? Answer: nothing! I know that a lot of us are short on ingredients and not wanting to go to the store so I figured out a way to make banana bread that is only 6 ingredients, is high in protein and is quite healthy!

I made this banana bread for my family and two loaves disappeared in a day or two. I knew that I had to make it again for the blog to share with all of you. My typical banana bread is super delicious but has a ton of ingredients in it and this one literally only has 6 easy ingredients that you may already have on hand.

This bread is moist, a little fluffy and dense as well. Try, just try to have one piece. It won't happen. I've never had any less than 2-3 slices at a time.

6-Ingredient Banana Bread Ingredients

-The ripest bananas
-Quick-cook oats (old-fashioned will work if you don't have quick cook)
-Eggs
-Maple syrup (or honey)
-Naked Nutrition Collagen Peptides Protein Powder
-Baking soda

Collagen Banana Bread
Use the ripest bananas that you have. This naturally adds sweetness to the bread. They can be frozen or fresh. I like using quick cook oats because they blend into the bread easier than old-fashioned but either will work. Feel free to use maple syrup or honey. To be honest, I also use pancake syrup often since it is cheaper.

This collagen is dairy free, soy free and gluten free. The only ingredient is the collagen peptides.

This banana bread is probably one of the healthiest banana breads that you will find. It is naturally gluten-free due to using oats instead of wheat flour. The oats add fiber and vitamins. The bananas add potassium and fiber. The collagen peptides and eggs add a boost of protein to keep you full. Most importantly, along with being a healthier banana bread, it also tastes amazing!

Prep Time:  5 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes Total time: 35 mins

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a bread pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Blend oats in a food processor until ground. Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth. 
  3. Pour batter into a bread pan and bake for 30 minutes until a toothpick stuck into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
