Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Chocolate Avocado Pudding is only 5 ingredients, tastes like an indulgent dessert but is made healthier with avocado (which you can't taste) and is vegan for a lighter dessert that everyone will love!
This chocolate avocado pudding is so delicious that you could make it for any gathering. It is an indulgent treat made healthier with using avocado instead of dairy products. Chocolate Avocado Pudding is one of my favorite desserts and I can't believe that it took until earlier this year to try this healthier dessert!
Right after Lily was born, Troy's co-worker's wife (and the family that we sit by at church) made us a delicious meal. For some reason, some of the most vivid memories after having each of our kids was the meals that people brought us. It just means so much to be brought a delicious meal during such a difficult and new time with a new baby. You feel like you don't have time to do anything suddenly such as cook a meal. When someone takes time out of their lives to prepare you food, man, it just means the world to me!
Anyways, along with some chicken noodle soup that my kids went crazy over, Greek salad and French bread, our friend Sandy made my chocolate avocado pudding with raspberries on top. She messaged me on Facebook later that day saying something like "if you don't like it, just toss it".
I tried it right away and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts ever. I wasn't a nice mommy though and totally saved almost all of it for myself. Hey, I had just had a new baby and was recovering from childbirth!
This Chocolate Avocado Pudding was so, so delicious. It was the middle of summer and the pudding was very cooling and not too heavy. It had a strong chocolate flavor and a little bit of a healthy flavor which I really enjoyed. I've been thinking about this Chocolate Avocado Pudding for the last 4 months and finally asked Sandy for the recipe which is what I have to share with you all today!
This Chocolate Avocado Pudding is super easy to make. The hardest part is waiting for the avocados to ripen! This dessert is vegan and is made with just 5 ingredients, most of which you probably already have in your pantry. I have made another dessert with avocado before so I knew that it would be good- try my Chocolate Avocado Truffles.
Since it is the holiday season, I served this healthy avocado pudding in Celebrations by Mikasa stemless wine glasses. They say "Don't get your tinsel in a tangle" and "Get your jingle on". Too cute! I'm thinking of enjoying this with my husband while we cozy up to a Christmas movie or to snack on while we wrap Christmas presents! Tis' the season!
Enjoy!
