Fruity PEBBLES French Toast
One of our traditions is that my husband makes the family breakfast every Saturday morning. Sometimes he makes salsa eggs, sometimes he makes ham and cheese omelettes and one time, as a special treat for the kids, he came up with Fruity PEBBLES French Toast.

Fruity PEBBLES French Toast Ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Fruity Pebbles
  • Bread of choice- whole-wheat, gluten-free, etc.

Fruity PEBBLES French Toast Nutrition

While this is not the healthiest breakfast in the world, it really isn't too bad. If you choose a whole-grain bread, you will be getting fiber and protein. The milk and eggs add more protein to fill you up for longer. The Fruity Pebbles does have sugar but I use less syrup on this version of French toast compared to regular French toast so I think it evens itself out.

Oh my goodness, you should have seen these kids’ faces, they were in absolute heaven when they found out that we were having Fruity PEBBLES and French toast combined. A huge tray of this gluten-free French toast disappeared in no time at all.

This kid-friendly breakfast was a total treat for Adalyn and Oliver and would be perfect for a brunch or weekend breakfast. They loved the different colors and that this French toast was something different than we usually have. Sometimes, it is fun to switch things up and go outside of your normal types of meals for something that everyone will love.

Gluten-Free French Toast

So that everyone could enjoy it, I made this French toast gluten-free by using Fruity PEBBLES which are naturally gluten-free with gluten-free bread. November is Gluten-Free Diet Awareness Month and since there are so many people who require a gluten-free diet, I wanted to share a recipe that was gluten-free. Enjoy this French toast on its own or with fruit and a fried or scrambled egg.

I love when Troy makes breakfast because doesn't food taste so much better when someone else makes it? I always think so! His specialty is eggs which is awesome but I am someone who needs some carbs in the morning (and let's be honest, at every meal) so I especially am loving this Fruity PEBBLES French Toast. This breakfast is more of a treat than a daily meal which is totally okay. I always tell people, even though I am a dietitian, I still eat everything in moderation!
