Hummus Toast- 4 Ways!
Hummus Toast- 4 Ways features Greek hummus toast, guacamole hummus toast, rainbow vegetable hummus toast and black bean and corn hummus toast for a tasty meal, snack or appetizer ready in 5 minutes each!
My family loves hummus! It is so versatile as a dip, a condiment or as an ingredient in a recipe. Avocado toast has been a trend for awhile and now hummus toast is becoming the next big thing. I thought I would share 4 ways to make hummus toast so you would have lots of easy ideas for how to top hummus toast. These ideas are super easy and take about 5 minutes or less to make and make a great lunch, appetizer or snack option.
With International Hummus Day next week on May 13th, I wanted to share this recipe with you to enjoy on the delicious food holiday!
My kids absolutely loved these! My son loved the guacamole hummus toast the best and my daughter loved the Greek hummus toast the best. I love being able to pack veggies into my kids and see them loving it.
The star ingredient in each of these hummus toast recipes is the Sabra hummus that I used. I have been a fan of Sabra for many years now and my whole family loves it. Hummus is rich in protein and buying premade hummus is a convenient and healthy way to buy it.
We love dipping veggies in hummus, pretzels, using it in chicken salad, as a healthier spread on a panini and more. The Sabra Roasted Pine Nut Hummus is my favorite but all of the varieties are awesome.
These veggie mixtures can actually be made the day ahead of time and topped with the veggies for an easy brunch or an afternoon snack. The black bean and corn mixture lasts well and so does the Greek feta mix.

Greek Hummus Toast
The first idea is Greek hummus toast which is my favorite because I love anything with feta cheese and Greek toppings. I topped this hummus toast with hummus, feta cheese, red onion, green pepper, lemon juice, tomatoes, cucumber and parsley. You could also add kalamata olives if you like.Guacamole Hummus Toast
Top your toast with a thick layer of hummus, guacamole, tomato, red onion and black pepper. Packed with healthy fats from the hummus and guacamole, this breakfast will help keep you full. It would be really good topped with a fried egg as well.Rainbow Vegetable Hummus Toast
Anything with "rainbow" in the title gets me every time! I made a quick 5-minute chopped rainbow vegetable salsa with tomatoes, shredded carrot, yellow squash, cucumber, green pepper, parsley, red cabbage and red onion for a pretty and nutritious hummus toast. Feel free to use whatever rainbow colored vegetables that you have on hand. I tossed my finely diced veggies with a little vinegar, oil and black pepper for more flavor over a thick smear of hummus on my toast.Black Bean and Corn Hummus Toast
I am known in my family for making Texas Caviar- a black bean salad- for all of the family parties. It takes about 5 minutes to make and tastes so delicious. You can feel free to switch it up for pinto beans if you like. For Mexican spices, I used chili powder, cumin, lime juice, garlic powder and onion powder. I added in no-salt added black beans, fresh or frozen corn, green pepper, tomato and red onion. My kids absolutely loved these! My son loved the guacamole hummus toast the best and my daughter loved the Greek hummus toast the best. I love being able to pack veggies into my kids and see them loving it.
