Made in Nature snacks, Cali'flour pizza crusts, pasta and crackers and FitSnack review.
Made in Nature Snacks
I am excited to share one of my favorite snack brands with you! Made in Nature has some super tasty products that are made with mostly dried fruit, nuts and even vegetables. My favorites are the Figgy Pops that are filled with nut butter. When I tried the jelly and nut butter flavor a couple of years ago, I thought it was one of the best snacks that I had tried.

They have come out with lots of different products that are fun as well such as the coconut chips and veggie pops. My other favorite product is the dried mango which tastes just like candy but has no added sugar. It was been awesome having snacks like this during lent because I gave up candy which is easier said that done while pregnant apparently. I buy my Made in Nature snacks at Walmart and they are pretty affordable!
Cali'Flour Foods
I'm all about the cauliflower trend as a healthier alternative to different foods. Cali'Flour Foods sells cauliflower pizza crusts, cauliflower based crackers, cauliflower flatbreads and cauliflower and yellow lentil pasta. I am already a big fan of their cauliflower pizza crusts. I love the spicy jalapeno crust and like that it is very thin so that you can really taste all of your toppings. Troy and the kids are fans as well. The crackers go well with different dips such as hummus and are a good way to sneak veggies into a snack that is not typically very nutritious. I love bean based pastas so I was interested to see how the Cali'Flour cauliflower and yellow lentil pasta was. We loved it! We are used to whole-wheat pasta and I think that it is similar to that. You don't taste the cauliflower at all and the pasta is great with any sauce that you may typically use on pasta. There are literally just the two ingredients: cauliflower and lentils. Each serving has 14 grams of protein which is awesome for pasta. Especially when we aren't having another protein source with our meals, I love using a bean-based pasta to help keep us full.
FitSnack Box
-My favorite item in this month's FitSnack box is the Vermont beef and pork sticks. I love the small size since I like having a meat stick on occasion but don't want a ton. They are 80 calories each and have 6 grams of protein. We brought these along for a day at the zoo and they were awesome on-the-go.
-Oliver loves bars and enjoyed the Orgain Kids bar.
-The teas from Vahdam are really tasty and make a perfect afternoon pick-me-up if I need it.
