Dessert Waffle Bar
When I made a Make Your Own Waffle Bar, the kids went crazy for it! I knew that a dessert waffle bar would make an awesome alternative dessert idea for the kiddos. My kids love frozen waffles and they love adding their own toppings so I thought that it would be fun to combine the ideas and instead of having them for breakfast, having a waffle bar for dessert! This dessert waffle bar is super easy to put together and is totally customizable. My kids love this for an after-dinner treat when watching Spirit Riding Free on Netflix. My daughter loves horses and nature and loves this show. I like that it shows girl empowerment, friendship and loyalty which iare some things that we try to teach our daughter. We don't do a ton of TV in my house but at least 3 nights a week after dinner, we watch a show or movie together as a family before the kids go to bed. No matter how much they eat, they always want a snack.
This dessert waffle bar has lots of fun ingredients like Eggo Waffles, Reddi-Wip, chocolate chips, caramel, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, chocolate sauce, nuts, sprinkles and different kinds of ice cream.
I mostly just pulled out ingredients that I had on hand and picked up a couple of ingredients at Walmart to make this easy dessert waffle bar. Feel free to use what you have on hand or what your guests will enjoy. Reddi-Wip uses real cream as the top priority and has non-dairy kinds too using coconut cream. Eggo waffles are a classic that toasts up to a delicious golden crisp in minutes and are warm, fluffy and so good!
I recently found out that I like hosting playdates for my daughter and am becoming that Pinterest mom which I never thought would be me haha! I think that a dessert waffle bar would be perfect for a kid's playdate, especially while watching one of Adalyn's favorite shows: Spirit Riding Free.
An easy dessert waffle bar would also be perfect for a birthday party if your child loves waffles and doesn't want cake. I would have loved this as a kid because I don't like cake very much.
I also love to have one-on-one time with my little girl and love cuddling up and watching a movie and having a snack together. This is the perfect opportunity to do so!
