Build Your Own Yogurt Bowl Bar
Build Your Own Yogurt Bowl Bar has tons of toppings for yogurt including fruit, honey, nuts, seeds, cereal, granola and more for a fun breakfast that the whole family will love and that is great for entertaining!
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of FAGE; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
For breakfast each morning, both kiddos want yogurt every single day. They absolutely love it! Most days, I am happy to give them yogurt because it is rich in protein and calcium and super easy to add ground flax and chia seeds to for a boost of omega-3 fatty acids. One morning, I decided to make the kids super happy by creating a build your own yogurt bowl bar! I loaded it with tons of toppings and the kids were thrilled.
Oliver is even at the age where he can point to what he wants and shake his head no for if he doesn't want something. I decided to make this yogurt bar totally nutritious with breakfast toppings but you could also do it for a healthier dessert bar as well. It would also be great as a snack for kids when they have their friends over and everyone can make what they want. Yogurt is also a super quick breakfast that is great for school mornings when we are short on time.
The combinations shown are Peanut Butter Banana with PB, bananas, peanut butter flavored granola and honey, Superfoods with strawberries, hemp seeds, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds and Tropical with coconut, honey, bananas, peaches, strawberries and mango.
We love FAGE Total 2% Plain Greek Yogurt. I love knowing that the kids are getting a little extra fat in their diet which helps to fill them up more and when we buy plain yogurt, it is totally customizable. Adalyn loves having a bit of honey or maple syrup in her yogurt to sweeten it up. Other natural sweeteners that work great are stirring some microwaved fruit into it. If you chop up strawberries or microwave or cook on the stove frozen blueberries or raspberries, they work wonderfully as a natural sweetener without adding any sugar.
This 2% yogurt comes in three different sizes: 7, 17.6 and 35.3 ounce sizes. I bought the 7 ounce sizes so that everyone can make their own yogurts. I like that it is bigger than a typical 5 oz yogurt cup so you have more yogurt for a more complete meal. FAGE Total Plain Greek Yogurt is an all natural Greek strained yogurt that is gluten-free, additive and preservative free and has no added sugar.
It is rich in protein and calcium and made only with milk and live active yogurt cultures. Earlier this year, I shared our love for FAGE with 10 Delicious and Nutritious Yogurt Toppings. Find out where you can buy FAGE yogurt here.
This yogurt bowl bar doesn't require a recipe. Just put out your favorite FAGE yogurts and a bunch of toppings like fruit, nuts and seeds, cereal and granola and sweeteners with a bunch of spoons and let everyone make their own. Enjoy!
