4 Flavors of Infused Water + Whole Foods Gift Card Giveaway
Infused water in 4 different flavors for a super refreshing, no-sugar added drink- lemon cucumber, peach basil, blueberry mint and cherry lime!
I pretty much can drink room temperature water 9 months out of the year but the second that it gets hot, I'm craving ice water and different flavors of infused water. At my old job, they would make all different flavors of infused water to keep in the lobby for visitors when they came.
Since I am a dietitian, my office was located within the kitchen so I always got to see the different flavors of infused water that they came up with. I learned lots of different flavor combinations that I could make at home.

Making infused water is super easy. Just add your favorite fruit, veggies and herbs to a large container with water and let it sit for a bit to let the flavors really get into the water. You're left with flavorful water with no added sugar! So good.
Infused water is so refreshing and so easy to make. The flavor combinations are endless. You can pretty much just choose 2-3 flavorful fruits and herbs and try them out together. When you're craving a different flavor besides water, infusing water is such a great beverage without a lot of sugar or caffeine. It is perfect to drink on a hot day. I've been drinking peach mint infused water lately.

How to Make Infused Water
1. Take large containers such as quart mason jars and fill with as much fruit, herbs and/or vegetables that you like.
2. Muddle with a spoon by taking a wooden spoon and mashing up fruit a bit to release the flavors in to the water.
3. Fill jar with water. Enjoy as is or refrigerate for a few hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
4. Enjoy over a couple day period.
For the water, I love using Starkey Water. They come in 1 liter glass bottles that are so pretty. Most of the time, I just drink these bottles of water as is. They are great for taking on a trip in a cooler with some ice. The water comes from a spring in the mountains of Idaho. It is sourced from 2.2 miles drown and is carbon dated 11,000 years and has an alkalinity of 9.6 pH. It is available to buy at Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh. We took this water with us to a trip to our local park for a picnic and everyone enjoyed this refreshing water. If you know me, you know that I never leave home without a large amount of water and because I get very thirsty and this water is awesome to have on hand, especially with it being the summer!
