Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie Bowls
Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie Bowls features a thick blueberry smoothie topped with drizzled peanut butter, fruit and crunchy peanuts for the perfect breakfast or snack.
It's finally warm out meaning that I can start making more of my beloved smoothies that are just too cold to drink in the winter! I love anything peanut butter and jelly flavored and already have a PB + J smoothie on the blog so I decided to make a new recipe making the smoothie super thick and adding a bunch of toppings in smoothie bowl form. If you are a peanut butter and jelly fan like me, you will love these!

I debated back and forth whether to use strawberries for the smoothie or blueberries. Either of these would work really well! Or you can used mixed berries These smoothie bowls are totally kid-friendly, and both of my kids went crazy for them. Adalyn is not the biggest fan of drinking a smoothie out of a glass but when I make it thick in a bowl and call it "ice cream", suddenly she is a big fan. It's all about the illusion people! Haha.
You can feel free to add a scoop of protein powder or Greek yogurt for a boost of protein. This smoothie is rich in antioxidants from the berries, calcium from the milk and protein from the milk, peanuts and peanut butter. It makes a perfect breakfast or even a snack.

For this recipe, I used Amazing Grass® Green Superfood® for a boost of nutrients. I ordered mine online from Sam's Club. In all of my smoothies, I like adding a boost of nutrition in the form of chia seeds, ground flax seeds, hemp seeds, protein powder or this awesome Amazing Grass which is packed full of nutrients. It is great for adults and kids and goes well in a smoothie.
Amazing Grass mixes well right into water as well. I like mixing it into a bottle of water, shaking it up and drinking. So easy! It is a great way to add some extra greens into your diet such as wheat grass, chlorella, spinach and spirulina. It is loaded with organic greens, fruits and vegetables and super foods.
Adalyn has been enjoying the different Amazing Grass products for years and often drinks the berry flavored one mixed into water when she is at all starting to feel under the weather for a boost of nutrients. Plus, she thinks it's fun drinking something besides water or milk.
Between May 10 – June 4, Sam’s Club is offering a $4.00 savings on every tub of Amazing Grass Green Superfood Original in store and online.
