1. Meez Meals

You know I love trying meal delivery services and this one was different than the others. It allows you to choose your meals like the others which is nice but it does not require a subscription. You can just order what you like whenever you want it. Also, the meals do not require a ton of prep and chopping. For example, the carrots, celery and onions all came in a bag diced and I just had to cook everything which saved a lot of time.



The food was fresh and super tasty. We loved both meals. Adalyn could not get enough of the shrimp and loved the tofu and brussels sprouts in the other meal. That's my girl! I chose the Shrimp Caldo Rojo which was super quick to make and delicious. I am funny about the texture of shrimp (I do not like them slimy at all) and these cooked very firmly and we loved them. The Udon Noodle Salad was great as well with roasted shaved brussels sprouts, peanuts and tofu. I want to buy whatever kind of tofu they use because it was firmer than any other I've had. The sauce was tasty with Asian flavors and my whole family enjoyed both meals- doesn't get better than that!

2. Degustabox

This month's box had some tasty items such as the Angelic Bakehouse Bread Crisps. They were tasty on their own and I didn't even dip them in anything though they would be good with hummus. I'm not much of a baker so the lemon bar mix sounds like something that I can handle. Adalyn and I love fruit treats and the SunRype bars are a fun snack for us. That tomato puree is delicious and will be perfect for lots of fall recipes.
