The Best Products of 2017 Part 22
1. KiwiCo Koala Crate
I am so, so excited to share this Koala Crate with you because I am thrilled to have discovered it myself. First of all, I am not crafty and feel guilty about it as a mom. I am not the mom that makes homemade crafts all the time but would love to. Koala Crate is an amazing subscription service that send you three crafts per month for your child.
There are different ones: age 0-2, 3-4, 5-8 and 9-16+. I chose the 3-4 one and it was so perfect for Adalyn. We had a blast doing these together. It was an afternoon to remember. We made these fun rainbow cloud pillows and a stained glass "window" which we have up in our window now.
They were quite simple and only took about 10 minutes or less each. It was the perfect amount of time for a three year old who cannot concentrate for a super long amount of time. I am now going to ask for this for Adalyn for her birthday because it is so much fun and the perfect gift for kids!
2. Noodles and Company
I love Noodles and Company! My favorite is the Chicken Veracruz Salad which comes with bacon, avocado, corn, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and more. It is full of flavor and I have had it 5 times- what can I say? I'm addicted! I tried the new-to-me Thai Chicken Soup and it was so, so good! I am glad that I went outside of my comfort zone as I almost got the Tomato Bisque which I also enjoy. This Thai soup was full of flavor and I want to recreate it at home
Troy got the Spicy Korean Beef Noodles which are ramen noodles tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce with steak, cabbage, sprouts and spinach. He really enjoyed it! It is quite spicy though so if you don't like much spice, choose another dish. He got a Caesar salad to go along with it and he enjoyed that as well.
We love going to Noodles and Company because the service is pretty fast, it is a family-friendly environment (and the people are always so nice to our kids there) and the food is healthier than many other restaurants.
3. ikiki Shoes
Adalyn has been wearing ikiki shoes since she had just turned one year old! These shoes have a squeaker in them which is especially cute for new walkers. The pair that we had still look perfect and I will pass them down to Oliver when he is old enough.
For our review this time, I chose the cat sneakers for Adalyn who loves cats and she shreaked and screamed with excitement when I showed them to her. She loves them! I chose the frog shoes for Oliver which are a little too big for him right now but I will share pictures on social media once he is old enough to wear them. These shoes are good quality and come with lots of different animals on them so you can choose your favorites.
