Cookie Dough Lactation Bites
Cookie Dough Lactation Bites take just 5 minutes to make and are the perfect healthy snack for the nursing mom featuring oats, flax and a secret protein and fiber packed ingredient!
Lately, I can't get enough homemade, healthy cookie dough everything! Ever since I came up with my Healthy Cookie Dough Dip recipe, I've been testing out different things to make with the cookie dough. Stay tuned for a healthy cookie dough ice cream recipe coming soon!
Since I am a nursing mom, I want to make sure that my milk supply stays where it needs to be. With Adalyn, I had lots of milk- more than I needed. This time, I have enough which is evidenced by Oliver gaining weight and having lots of wet diapers but it is not the same. I am pumping out less and having way less leaking which I don't know if is an issue or not but it makes me nervous.
Foods to Increase Milk Supply
Therefore, I have been making sure to start eating lots of foods that are good for breastfeeding and increasing milk supply including oats, flax, drinking lots of water and taking brewers yeast supplements and fenugreek.Lactation Bites for Breastfeeding
I made these Cookie Dough Lactation Bites as a healthy and hearty snack for the nursing mom. We all know that moms do not have a lot of time to eat at times so these are great because you can make them ahead of time and enjoy all week. Also, my daughter likes them as well- you do not have to be breastfeeding to enjoy them!
