Peaches and Cream Overnight Oats
Though overnight oats have been around for a long time, I recently got into the trend. I had a hard time believing that the liquid would be soaked up by the oats without cooking them since I always eat hot oats. I was pleasantly surprised and really ended up enjoying overnight oats.
Since peaches are in season right now, I thought that I would make a peaches and cream overnight oatmeal for a fun and delicious breakfast. My daughter loved these so much! She said "more, more, more" when I gave them to her! If you want, you could use peach yogurt instead of vanilla for a more peachy flavor.
Make sure that your peaches are ripe and juicy because this will taste the best that way. These overnight oats are packed full of nutrients. The chia seeds provide protein, fiber and omega-3s. The protein powder, milk and Greek yogurt make the meal protein rich and filling. These can be made ahead of time and enjoyed through the week for a quick and healthy breakfast.
