Foods I've Tried Lately 2 + Giveaway
1. Alouette Le Bon Dip- This Alouette dip came at the perfect time when I was having my family over for dinner. I knew that this would make the perfect snack along with a tray of veggies and crackers for dipping. Le Bon dip is made of cheese and chunky vegetables. It has a similar flavor and consistency of vegetable dip but better. I loved the fire roasted vegetable flavor which had chunks of roasted veggies. It was great to eat with the vegetables and crackers.
My family enjoyed both flavors. The next day, I made my husband a baked potato and put some of the basil, zucchini and parmesan dip on it and he really enjoyed it. For something out of the ordinary of your typical chip dips, try these Alouette Le Bon dips.
2. B'Bites- When I saw that these snack bites were made in Michigan, I knew that I had to try them. They are made of dried fruits and nuts and come in small squares. They are soft and chewy and my daughter loves them. I struggle with what to feed her as a snack besides fruits and vegetables and these were great. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and vegan. They are not too high in calories and make a great snack for myself as well. I enjoyed the peanut butter crisp flavor the most.
3. Carrington Farms Flax Chia Blend- I am no stranger to this awesome flax and chia blend! I have been eating this for years and love it. I eat oatmeal 4 days per week and always put both ground flax and chia seeds in my oatmeal so this mixture of both is perfect for me. I have also used it in baked good, energy balls and in yogurt. I love this mix and the boost of fiber, protein and omega-3 that it provides.
