Adalyn 10 Month Update
10 months- ahhh! My baby is growing up. We are nearly walking! Adalyn is amazingly fun at this stage and enjoying these summer months with her has been the best. Here are some of the fun things going on this month:
Weight: 17.8 lbs
Feedings: We cut down to breastfeeding 4 times per day: upon waking up, ~11 AM, when I get home from work ~3:30 and right before bed. That means I only have to pump one time at work!!!! Only two more months until I can say we made it to one year of breastfeeding- crazy!
As far as solids, Adalyn is still an excellent eater and enjoys feeding herself. She allows us to feed her cereal and yogurt but everything else, you better believe that she is going to feed herself. She eats everything that we eat with the exception of some crunchy foods and food with sugar/salt.
Sleep: Bedtime ranges from about 7:30-8 PM. She is sleeping through the night (*knock on wood) but the problem is that she has been getting up for the day at around 4:45-5:30- too early!! Troy tries to get her to go back down and she won't so I end up feeding her and then she is up for the day.
Any tips experienced moms? Also, if we put her to bed later, she still gets up at the same time. She is getting better at going down easier. It helps to rub her back which she finds soothing. She sleeps on her stomach and her knees are under her butt- too cute.
She naps twice a day which has gotten better and the length is now usually 1 1/2-2 hours.

Milestones:
-Can stand on her own!
-Has taken a couple of steps, walks well when you hold her hands, walks awesome with her walker toy
-Loves her dogs so much!
-Can crawl all the way up the stairs
-Waves bye to me when I leave for work everyday
-Can sign "more" and claps all the time
-Plays all day long, loves the pool and playing in the bath
-Gets into EVERYTHING! Loves to empty drawers, especially her shoe drawer. Maybe she will be a girl who loves shoes?
-She is in a "mama" stage where she wants me to hold her all the time (not mad about it). When I get home from work, she gives me the biggest smile and crawls over to me which is so sweet.
-Understands "no" when she is doing something she is not supposed to.
-Excels at crawling
-Doesn't like to sit still and hates diaper changes. This girl is on the move!
-Still has 4 teeth- she can chew almost everything with these.
-Notices other kids all the time and loves staring at them- haha.
-"Talking" more, especially when she eats which is her favorite times of the day.
