Foods I've Tried Lately Part 5 + BluePrint Juice Giveaway
1. BluePrint Juice- I love trying different fresh juices including these from BluePrint. I chose a variety of juices to try for my review. They are supposed to go in stages for meal replacements. I do not believe in doing juice cleanses and instead think that the juices are great for a pick-me-up or for a snack.
The first juice that I tried was the spicy lemonade with lemon, agave and cayenne. It was less spicy than I imagined but it was very good. I am obsessed with spicy lemonades. I also liked the cashew milk which was great in coffee as well as on its own. I had not tried cashew milk before and it was very creamy and flavorful.
I love the juices filled with a bunch of greens such as the #1 with romaine, celery, cucumber, apple, spinach, kale, parsley and lemon. These make me feel more energized than any cup of coffee can! The only juice that I was not too big of a fan of was the C.A.B. which contained beets. I love beets but in my juices, I cannot stand the taste.
These juices are organic and can be delivered right to your door. The juices all tasted very fresh and I love the way that they made me feel.
2. BerryCart Subscription Box- I love trying different snack subscription boxes! This one focuses on different healthy foods. If you like a product in the box, you can get a cashback rebate to redeem in the BerryCart app to buy the product again.
This box came with some very delicious products! My favorite was easily the I Heart Keenwah quinoa clusters which had chocolate, quinoa and peanuts. These made a great alternative to candy and were a perfect post-dinner treat. I also liked the Beanfields Bean and Rice chips which are a healthier take on something like Doritos. They are richer in protein and fiber than most chips.
Also, the hemp hearts are perfect in my oatmeal and the vanilla snakaroons were a wonderful coconutty treat.
3. Hello Hungry Liquid Meals- I never skip meals but for those who forget to eat (hello, my husband!) or those who are super busy, these may be for you. They are a liquid meal filled with buckwheat and other fruits and vegetables- kind of similar to a smoothie. I eat higher calorie snacks a lot of times and liked these for a snack to help keep me full until the next meat. They have three flavors: mango spinach peach, tomato basil and strawberry banana carrot beetroot. They have not added sugar, are fat-free, gluten-free and lactose-free. I liked the mango spinach
4. Send Me Gluten Free May Box- Send Me Gluten Free is a monthly subscription service that sends you gluten-free snacks. Some of my favorites from this box are the Earth Balance peanut butter (so good!), Smarty Pants vitamins (had never tried these before, they tasted like candy, not vitamins) and the Luna mini. The Luna Mini bar was a chocolate and milk flavor and was really good. The free coupons this month are for Gortons and Sabra hummus- yum!
A 1 month supply is $24.85 shipped. It is cheaper per month if you buy more months at a time. Each box will contain 8-10 gluten-free products. If you require a gluten-free diet, this is a fun way to try out different products.
