Happy Easter!

Tomorrow is my very favorite holiday and one that I look forward to all year long. It is all about traditions:

-My Dzia-Dzia and I made the huge fruit salad together before he passed away- I have since continued that tradition myself. I plan to involve Adalyn in this too which is so exciting!

-My sister Natalie and Busia made potato salad together.

-My brother Edwin and Busia make Polish lemon coffeecake together- this does not happen every year anymore.

-We color eggs for each member of our family, living and deceased.

-We go to church on Saturday for a food blessing.

-We spend time together as a family at my parent's farm.

-We cook a ham, kielbasa, all the foods listed above, roasted asparagus or green beans, blessed candy, orange and apple, and more that I am probably forgetting.

As you can see, we have tons of set traditions with Easter that make it so special and important to me. I am so, so excited to share these traditions with Adalyn and possibly start some new ones.
