#1 Baby Must-Have: HALO Giveaway
The title of this post is no exaggeration. The HALO SleepSack Swaddle is our number one baby must-have item (tied with the Wubbanub). We have used this since Adalyn's 4th night of life and every single day since. I am excited to share this product with you in case you are expecting or have a baby and have not tried this product. For my review, I was sent a HALO sleepsack and a HALO sleepsack swaddle.
On our first night home, we used a swaddle of a different brand and Adalyn busted out of it within mintues. The same thing happened the next day with a few other brands. Then, we tried the HALO swaddle. This is the only swaddle that Adalyn cannot get out of. When she was super tiny, her arms would startle her and make it so that she cannot sleep. With the help of the swaddle, she felt more secure and would sleep better.
After trying about 5 other brands of swaddles and them failing miserably, we realized just how valuable the HALO swaddle is to us. We rotate between 4 of the newborn size swaddles right now. For when she hits more than 12 lbs, we have 3 of the size small swaddles to use. We have both the cotton ones and fleece and I prefer the fleece since it is cold out now and we keep our house cool.
The HALO swaddle has become a very important part of our nighttime routine. We do a diaper change, swaddle, feed, then white noise, pacifier and bed! These swaddles are not too expensive and do great getting washed frequently. I highly recommend this product to anyone! Especially if you have a little Houdini like I do that can get her arms out of most swaddles.
We were also sent a HALO sleepsack which I love for during the daytime. When it is cold, I just throw one of these on over Adalyn's clothing and it keeps her warm. Once she no longer likes to be swaddled, I'm sure that we will use these sleepsacks at night as well.
These HALO products are used both by families at home at by hospitals. It is part of a Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. I love this since babies cannot have blankets in their crib because it is not safe but still need a way to stay warm.
HALO Innovations is dedicated to putting the health, safety and well-being of babies first. In fact, over 1,200 hospitals use our HALO® SleepSack® wearable blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. This summer we launched our new bassinet, the HALO™ Bassinest™ Swivel Sleeper, furthering our commitment to helping babies sleep safely. Also, the HALO SleepSack Swaddle is considered "hip healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and is used on over 1,200 hospitals.
