Salty Snacks Review and Giveaway
1. Snikiddy snacks- I was recently sent these fun snacks from Snikiddy. I was sent the barbeque fries, vegetable chips and baked mac n'cheese puffs. I personally enjoyed the puffs while my husband liked the fries. I am not kidding you when I say that he ate this whole bag in one day. Whoops! When he finds a snack he likes, he cannot stop eating it. These snacks are a bit healthier than your typical potato chips. They are gluten-free and are made with non GMO potatoes and corn. They contain 50% less fat than chips. When I am craving something salty, this is a good option.
2. Medifast snacks- I was recently sent some snacks from Medifast's new line including their Sea Salt & Olive Oil Veggie Chips, Spicy Black Bean Veggie Chips, Sea Salt Popcorn, and Cheddar & Sour Cream Popcorn. They come in small serving bags and only have 50-70 calories each. Although I am not on a diet, these are a fun snack to take in your lunch on the go. I especially enjoyed the veggie chips.
3. Nibblr monthly snacks- Nibblr is a subscription service where you can try different types of snacks. You can get a delivery weekly, every other week or once a month. It comes in a cute, small box and comes in individual servings. I was able to try some tasty snacks from them. One of the snacks was the coffee shop which came with coffee flavor almonds and little cookies. It was very tasty!
I also really enjoyed the punchy fruit which came with delicious dried pineapple, lemon fruit snacks and other dried fruit. This was great for a quick sweet snack. I also was sent the full monterey snacks and sesame almonds. For just one box, it costs $5.99. It is less for a larger subscription. I like that it makes portion control easy and you can take these on the go.
4. Wild Brine Fermented Foods- I was recently sent some awesome and unique products to try from Wild Brine. They are a company that makes fermented foods which I was so excited to try. Fermented foods are rich in probiotics which are gut-friendly. I am a huge fan of foods like sauerkraut and pickles so I was excited to try these. They are all raw and vegan.
I was sent the kimchi, bold pickles, dill pickles, dill and garlic sauerkraut and fermented salsa rojo. The day before I went into labor, I enjoyed trying some of these fermented foods. The most unique to me was the fermented salsa. I had never tried that before. It had a strong and bold flavor that was enjoyable. My family came over about a week later and was so excited to try the fermented salsa. They ended up really loving it.
My favorite was the dill and garlic sauerkraut salad. It tastes similar to traditional sauerkraut but is a bit chunkier and has the delicious dill and garlic flavors. The kimchi was great as well. My mom was excited to try this one. I think it would be so fun to have a lunch party having simple turkey sandwiches and having all of these toppings out so everyone can try them. I enjoyed trying these new-to-me products.
