California Innovations Diaper Bags Review
Our baby is due in just 7 weeks now! We are so excited. We have most of the items we need now that we just had our shower and have a few more to buy. I have a couple of diaper bags already that I really like but both of them are very feminine. I wanted something that my husband could use when he has the baby and not be embarrassed of carrying around a purse. I was sent these awesome bags from California Innovations to review.
Since Troy is a teacher, he gets a lot more breaks than I do and will be the sole caregiver of the baby during those times (summer break, Christmas, spring break, winter break...what a brat!!). These bags are perfect for him and manly which he loves.
The first bag that we were sent is the Hobo Nappy Bag in black which retails for ~$70. It is very lightweight and has a wide main compartment. It also has a changing mat with a wipe clean lining for diaper changes on the go.
The Columbia Summit Rush Backpack diaper bag is great as well. This was Troy's favorite since it can be easily carried on his back. The bag can be purchased at Babies 'R Us for $50. It has 3 elastic pockets and 1 zipper pocket. It features a side bottle compartment with Therma-Flect radiant barried to keep milk fresh. This is great since Troy with (hopefully) be feeding our daughter breastmilk and can have it ready to go in this compartment. It also comes with a changing pad. This backpack is very comfortable to carry with padded straps.
The final bag that we received is the Baby Innovations Diaper Bag which can be found at Walmart. It is very lightweight and roomy. It has a bottle compartment as well and a changing mat with a "messy" bag.
All of these bags are great and will get a ton of use out of for the new baby. I'm glad that Troy now has a bag that he likes which will make him more comfortable carrying it (he would have totally carried a feminine bag too if he needed to).
