Personal Chef To Go Review and Giveaway
Today, I have such a delicious meal service to share with you called Personal Chef to Go. They are a company that sells pre-cooked meals and they are delivered right to your door. Something different about this company compared to other companies that I love is that the meals are delivered fresh, not frozen.
This means that they can include foods like fresh salads which could not normally be included in a meal service. I was sent 8 different meals to try and I'm not joking, we loved every single one. My husband ate the majority of these meals as he was in his last week or two of teaching and was busy. These meals are great because they just take a couple of minutes to heat up.
The meal that I really loved was called the Thai ginger chicken salad with ginger oriental dressing. This meal was so flavorful. I really liked the dressing and they gave you enough to use the dressing again on another meal. One thing that I do wish was that the meals gave a bit more fresh vegetables like an extra cup of lettuce or so but I just added my own to bulk it up.
Every one of these meals was very fresh and flavorful. Everyday that my husband came home from work after eating one of these, he raved about how amazing they are. He said "I don't think that this company could make one bad meal if they wanted to". Yes, he was a huge fan!
I was sent the Busy Singles Meal Plan which comes with 8 meals. I enjoyed these for lunch but they could be eaten for dinner as well. The cost is $99.95 for 8 meals. Also, something very important that I always pay attention to with packaged foods is the sodium content. These meals were very reasonable with sodium with ~300-450 mg of sodium depending on the meal.
Like I said, my husband and I really enjoyed the meals from Personal Chef to Go. They were unique and different than the typical foods we usually make, flavorful and fresh!

The meals came with a couple of fish varieties as well as an awesome philly steak salad that my husband loved. Another tasty salad was the Southwest shrimp salad with chipotle citrus dressing.
