Healthy Snacks Review
1. Gourmet Nut- Gourmet Nut is a company that sells different kinds of nut trail mixes. I am a big fan of nuts, dried fruit and trail mixes so I was excited to try theses. My favorite was the antioxidant mix which comes with dark chocolate, pecans, cranberries, walnuts, blueberries and raisins. I am such a huge snacker and love variety so these are perfect for me.
The Power Up protein packed trail mix was another favorite with cashews, raisins, almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried cherries and peanuts. All of the items taste great together. My biggest problem is portion control when it comes to these snacks- I want to eat the whole bag!
2. Eatrageous Chips- These chips are unique and extra crunchy. They are not baked or fried. They come in interesting flavors including crunchy mac n' cheese, wasabi ranch, sweet & smoky BBQ and original sea salt. Each bag is pretty generous in portion size and is only 100 calories. These are great when you have a salty snack craving but don't want to blow your healthy eating. They are non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan.
I really like how the company represents the chips. They say that they are not the healthiest snack and that carrots are but that these lie in between the carrots and fried chips- I agree! I used to hate wasabi flavor but since I have been pregnant, I seem to really like it. That was my favorite flavor of these. They remind me of penne noodles because of the shape. The mac 'n cheese flavor is tasty too.

3. Chloe's Fruit Pops- These fruit pops are delicious! They only contain fruit, water and sugar. Flavors include tangerine, mango, banana, blueberry, raspberry, blood orange, dark chocolate and strawberry. My favorite is the banana which seemed creamy. One bar only has 60 calories and is made with real ingredients. With this hot weather, I can't seem to get enough!
I also was sent a couple cups of soft serve fruit from Chloe's. I cannot rave about this enough! It is made from real fruit like the bars. The company sent me a swirl of chocolate and banana and another with mango and pineapple. These are amazing! My husband and I shared the dark chocolate and banana (and the dogs got a bite of the banana) on a hot day outside. These are so tasty. Nutritionally, this is much lower in calories than ice cream and is a lot healthier too. I loved every single flavor that I was sent. Check out where Chloe's is sold: www.Chloesfruit.com.
4. Barbara's Cereals- I was sent the organic snackimals cereal in chocolate crisp and the multigrain squarefuls in maple brown sugar to try. I have been eating the snackimals chocolate crisp cereal mixed into my yogurt and in my cottage cheese and have been really enjoying it. They are lightly sweetened and are in shapes of different animals. This would be a great snack for kids to have plain or with milk. It is also available in vanilla blast and cinnamon crunch flavors.
The multigrain squarefuls are tasty as well. They are sweetened with maple syrup and brown sugar. These are nice and crunchy and taste great with milk. One serving has 200 calories, 6 grams fiber and 4 grams protein.
