The first item that I was sent is the luxe jersey side tie top. I really like this top because of the cute floral pattern and because it can tie to fit different sized bellies. Right now, I tie the shirt fairly tight. When my belly grows more, I will have it looser to fit.
This is a scoop neck tunic with elbow sleeves and the adjustable waist. I think that the waist could fit a 9 month belly easily due to the adjustability. It has a ruched back sash that ties at the side for an asymmetrical look in front. This top retails for $78.
I was also sent the D&A tipped nursing dress to review. This dress comes in black or navy. What I like most about it is that it can be worn during and after your pregnancy. I do not want to spend too much money on maternity clothes that I will only wear for a short period of time so this is perfect. The dress is very comfortable and stylish. The waistband ties in the back and conceals nursing access. The lavender area lifts up for easy nursing. To nurse, just untie the back sash and lift up the waistband. I can see that this will be very helpful in the future. The fabric is very soft and is made with renewable bamboo.
Both pieces from Japanese Weekend seem to be a great quality and I like the styles a lot. I know that they will be great to wear over this summer.
