2014 Prom Dresses
I absolutely love to get dressed up for fancy events. Now that I’m out of high school, I do not have many fancy events that I can go to. Last year, at my old job, there were a couple of super fancy events that I went to that were awesome. I actually wore my old prom dress to one and dressed up fancy for the other event.
When I was in high school and middle school, I would buy all of the prom magazines and look at them over and over. I would rip out pages of my favorite dresses and make collages of them. Each year, I would be so excited to do this. Strangely enough, I did not go to my own senior prom because I had already graduated (I graduated high school a semester early). I did go to my high school boyfriend’s junior and senior proms which were really fun. The best part is definitely picking out the dress.
I recently found a company called JenJenHouse.com which is an online shop that sells prom dresses. They have some very beautiful options in all different styles. They have tons of new arrivals http://www.jenjenhouse.com/Prom-Dresses-c18/ as well for this upcoming prom season.
My husband is a high school science teacher at a new school this year (my old high school!). I could definitely see him chaperoning the dance as this is what he did in the past at his old jobs. If I were to chaperone as well, here are some of my favorite dress choices:
A-Line/Princess V-neck Chapel Train Tulle Prom Dress With Beading- I love nude colored dresses and think that this one is so elegant.
A-Line/Princess Scoop Neck Chapel Train Chiffon Prom Dress With Ruffle Beading Sequins- I love the neckline, beading and back of this dress.
A-Line/Princess One-Shoulder Floor-Length Chiffon Prom Dress With Ruffle Beading- I can't not mention this yellow dress! Yellow is my favorite color and I think that this dress would be very flattering on.

I'm in absolute LOVE with that first dress-like I just want to go out and buy it just because! Although now that I'm out of high school, too (it'll be 6 years this year-goodness I feel old!) I don't have many fancy events to go to either.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was going to need a small or maybe a medium, but all they had was extra small and large. I ordered the extra small, terrified that I was going to have to send it right back but it fit perfectly!
