KindRunner: Asics Gel Kayano 20 Review
I became a big fan of Kindrunner back in the fall when I reviewed the awesome R8 roller, Nathan light and Brooks gloves from them. All three products have been extremely useful to my running and have been used multiple times. The R8 roller is so amazing and helps sore muscles. I have been using it to help me through a knee injury that I have been struggling with since Christmas.
Kindrunner recently sent me a pair of the Asics Gel Kayano 20 shoes to review. Besides the awesome pink, orange and purple colors of these shoes, there are so many awesome features that these have. Before this, I was wearing the Brooks Trance 12 which were great for my feet. When searching which pair of shoes that I wanted, these were recommended for people who like the Brooks Trance 12.
Also, my brother who is a former college track and cross country runner recommended these shoes to me so I felt comfortable trying them out. I roll my feet in a lot when I run and am pretty prone to injury so shoes with a lot support are very important to me. I used to get huge deep blisters on the bottom of my feet before I found the right type of shoe to run in. I now do not get those at all since I started wearing higher quality running shoes.
The Asics Gel Kayano 20 provides a lot of support, comfort and cushion which is perfect for me. They are created for mild to moderate pronators.
I have been wearing these shoes for about 3 weeks now. Before I wrote my review, I wanted to be able to do a thorough review on the shoes so I had a lot experience to write about. Since the weather has been so bitterly cold here in MI, I have only been able to do one 4 mile run outside in these shoes. I have been wearing them daily though for runs and walks on the treadmill and only have great things to say.
These definitely provide plenty of support to my feet. There is a lot of cushion which is very comfortable. They fit true to size. The only thing that I have to say that is negative is that to the touch, the insole feels quite hard but once I put the shoes on my feet, they do not feel very hard standing in them.
I think that the colors are absolutely awesome with these shoes. I have been getting a ton of compliments on them and love the bright and unique color combination.
Here are some of the features of these shoes:

So far, I am very happy with these shoes. I look forward to the weather warming up a bit (if it hits 20 degrees F, I will run outside!!) so that I can go running in these outside. Thanks so much to Kindrunner for providing these awesome shoes to me.
