Way Better Snacks Review
Way Better Snacks is a brand of tortilla chips that offer
healthier options than other brands. I had first reviewed them last year and my
husband and I really loved them! This time around, I was sent a mixed case of
Way Better Snacks to try.
I was sent some of the black bean, sweet potato, blue corn,
mult-grain and sweet chili chips to try out. Although chips are not the
healthiest snack in the world, I love eating them and enjoy them 2-4 times per
week. My favorite things to dip tortilla chips in are salsa, hummus and
guacamole.
These Way Better Snacks
offer some fun flavors of chips and are tasty as well. Way Better Snacks uses
sprouted grains which makes it easier for your body to absorb the nutrients.
They contain 190 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per serving as well. They are
gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan.
One serving of chips has 130 calories, 100 mg sodium, 7
grams fat and 2 grams fiber. What I love is that the ingredients are kept
simple. For example, the sweet potato chips contain these ingredients: high
oleic sunflower or safflower oil, stone ground corn, sweet potato, sprouted
quinoa, sprout chia seeds and salt. The simpler, the better!
I was not sent this flavor but tried them in Whole Foods and
have to write about it. Way Better Snacks just came out with pumpkin cranberry
chips that are delicious! They are good on their own and do not need any other
toppings. These are available for a limited time.
My favorite flavors have to be the sweet potato and the blue
corn. These chips are a slightly better choice than other tortilla chips and
offer tasty flavors to try.
