MorningStar Farms Chickpea Burger Giveaway

First of all, I wanted to wish my parents a very happy 27th wedding anniversary!! 6/7/86 : )
I love veggie burgers! I am not even a vegetarian but have always loved trying all different kinds of veggie burgers. I also am a huge fan of beans, especially chickpeas. When I was contacted by MorningStar Farms to try their new Mediterranean chickpea burgers, I knew that that would be something that I would love.

This burger is only 110 calories per burger which is awesome. How I like to eat these is on top of a salad or on a whole wheat bun. The first one of these that I had, I built an awesome sandwich. I used a whole wheat bun, a chickpea burger, tzatziki cucumber sauce, tomato slice, raw spinach and fresh red onion. Yum!
These burgers are made with chickpeas, spinach, Roma tomatoes and Greek herbs and spices. They have 70% less fan than beef burgers. They are great for those who want a healthy meal and want to cut fat and cholesterol that beef has. One burger has 4.5 grams of fat, 7 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. I think that these nutrition facts are awesome.

I like to cook these in the oven, on the grill or in a pan- microwaving does not come out as good. I like the chickpeas in the burger and the Greek flavors. I would definitely buy these again. MorningStar Farms also makes many other tasty products that I buy on a regular basis.
