How I Make Money Blogging
I love to read posts where bloggers give information on how they make money blogging. I thought that today I would share some of my tips for making money blogging. Feel free to check out these sites which have been beneficial to me.
I wanted to note that I do not make a lot of money from my blog. I blog mostly because I enjoy it and it brings me a lot of great opportunities. Some people are able to make a large income from blogging but so far, I have not been able to do that. The money that I do earn is side money for fun things.
1. SocialSpark
SocialSpark is a site that allows you to write sponsored posts on all different topics. If the company is interested in you writing about their product, you will receive a lead in your email. You can accept the amount of money that the post is offering or send in a counteroffer to try to get more money. If the company is interested, you will receive an email giving you usually 3 days to write the post. This site is very simple to use and I have been writing for them for 2 years now.
2. Clever Girls Collective
These campaigns are specific to certain brands and are easy to apply to. Payment per post is usually $50-$150. I really enjoy working with this company as they are very kind and have fun campaigns.
3. The SITS Girls
These campaigns are not as often as some of the others but one really neat campaign that I got to do was go a live blog event in my area.
4. Ebates
This is not exactly blog money but I had to mention it since I cannot recommend this company enough. I visit it before I make all of my online purchases to receive money back on each purchase. For example, when I purchase anything from Groupon (which is quite often), I go to Ebates first and get 3% back on each purchase. Around Christmas, I bought a snowblower from Sears for $500 and got 10% back from Ebates. When my Ebates check came, I got $50 back just for using their site on my purchase. I LOVE Ebates and have my entire family using it now for their purchases.
5. Glam Advertising
I recently switched my ad network to Glam Media which I am very happy with. They are easy to work with and pay a high CPM (amount of $ per 1000 views) than many other companies. Since my traffic is not super, super high, I do not earn a lot of money from this but if you have high traffic, you will do very well.
Disclosure: This post may contain affialiate links. All sites that I recommend are because I honestly like them, not for any other reasons.

thanks for sharing these tips! Definitely going to look into a few
ReplyDeleteAmanda, I have heard a lot of things about GLAM network recently. I haven't checked them out yet, so I don't quite get it, but were you using Google before and not any longer? Comparable? Is it a better payout? I mean, I make like next to nothing, but I am not too involved with that part, so I can't be too worried about it. It is just not my passion to make it my job, ya know? I think kind of like you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these tips! I joined a few of them today!
