Better4U Foods Pizza Giveaway
Better4U Foods is a company that puts a spin on traditional frozen pizzas and makes them healthier. For my review, I was able to try 3 of the companies pizzas including the gluten-free Mediterranean, roasted vegetable multi-grain, old world veggie sprouted grain.
The company sells different lines of pizza including a thin crust, a gluten-free and the new sprouted grain pizza.
Last Wednesday, my sister and I had plans to go out to dinner. Then, my dog got super sick (he is better now!) and I had to take him to the vet. We had to cancel our dinner plans to take care of my puppy so we decided to try one of these pizzas for dinner. I am glad that we did!
We made the gluten-free Mediterranean pizza. It is covered in feta cheese, Greek olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichokes, spinach and red onions. As you can see in the photo above, it turned out beautiful! The pizza was very tasty. The crust is pretty thick and is a good gluten-free variety. I cooked the crust until crispy which was great.
My sister enjoyed all of the toppings and we thought that it was a unique kind of pizza. The crust is made with rice flour, potato starch, buckwheat flour and brown rice flour. One quarter of a pizza has 210 calories, 8 grams of protein, 540 milligrams of sodium and 2 grams of fiber. I paired this with a chopped cucumber and tomato Mediterranean salad.

This past weekend, I also tried the new sprouted grain pizza which I chose in the old world veggie flavor. Sprouted grains are becoming more and more popular and contain higher fiber and a lower glycemic index that regular grains. The pizza was tasty with onions, spinach, cheese and tomatoes.
I enjoyed trying these frozen pizzas which were a bit healthier than many frozen pizzas. They contained lots of vegetables, gluten-free options and whole grains.
