22 Days of Nutrition Review and Giveaway
Every Monday to Friday, I have some kind of bar around 9:30 AM-11 AM. I love having this to keep my full until lunch and provide some protein. I was sent a variety of bars from 22 for my review. This company is vegan and is started by an exercise physiologist.
The company is called 22 Days of Nutrition and here is why:
"Psychologists have discovered that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. We applied this principal to helping people live a healthier, more energetic and productive life and created the 22Days Challenge. Our goal is to help everyone get to the 22nd Day- and achieve a major breakthrough. At 22Days, we are committed to providing the nutrition and the tools to help make a positive and healthy difference everyday- replacing hunger with a healthy habit."
I love this! The bars come in all different flavors including enlightened pumpkinseed, pineapple chocolate chip, daily mocha mantra, etc.
My favorite bar was the nut butter buddha. This bar has 230 calories, 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. I do wish that the bar had a little bit less calories but if I do eat one of these, I just make my lunch portions a bit smaller. Ingredients include cashew butter, coconut syrup, hemp protein, brown rice protein, sunflower seed butter, cashews, walnuts and sunflower seeds.
I loved how chewy this bar was! It was quite filling as well. The day that I had this bar, I ended up taking a later lunch because I was so full!
My other favorite was the fruit and nut karma bar. This bar has 5 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber and 220 calories. Ingredients include date paste, almonds, cashew butter, diced mango, pineapple, etc. I liked the flavor of this bar but am not the hugest date fan. I prefer a protein base to my bars.
