PROBAR Review and Giveaway

About a year ago, I wrote a review on PROBAR. This time, I was sent a couple boxes of bars from lines that I had not tried yet including Halo Bars and Fuel Bars.

The Halo bar is a sweet snack bar. They are natural, organic and use whole food ingredients. I was sent the Rocky Road variety. These really do taste like a dessert. The bars are also available in Nutty Marshmallow and S'Mores. Each bar has 140 calories, 4 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber. I like that they are low in calories because many bars are over 200 calories. This is perfect for between meals or with a meal. I do wish that they were a bit higher in fiber and protein.

This bar was very tasty. I like that they taste similar to a dessert for when you just need a sweet treat. They have marshmallows in them which my husband is going to love (but he cannot have right now because he gave them up for lent).
The Fuel Bars were quite different than the Halo Bar which is nice for variety. This bar is full of fruit, cashews and oats. It is very soft and chewy. It is mostly fruity with a bit of nuts and oats. It is also packed with chia seeds which contain fiber and omega 3 fatty acids. Each bar has 2 servings of fruit. Flavors include cherry, strawberry, blueberry and cran-raspberry. 
I was sent a variety of flavors. My favorite is the cherry. Each bar has 160 calories 3 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. I love the fiber content. I think that these bars would be great for high endurance athletes to eat during a long run or bike ride. They are very soft, easy to eat and seem to be easily digestible.
