BBQ Pretzel Chicken
BBQ Pretzel Chicken
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin
1/3 cup BBQ sauce (my favorite is Open Pit Original)
1/2 cup crushed pretzels (you could crush these in a food processor or by hand with a meat mallet)
Nonstick spray
Directions:
1. Marinate chicken breasts in BBQ sauce for at least two hours.
2. Pour crushed pretzels onto a plate and cover chicken breasts in pretzel crumbs.
3. Spray a pan with nonstick spray. Once hot, add chicken breasts.
4. Cook chicken about 3 minutes on each side. Pay close attention because pretzels may stick to pan.
Since the chicken breasts were so thin, I did not have much of a problem with the pretzels sticking to the pan. This easy meal will be made again soon in my home! Also, as you can see in the pictures, we had steamed artichokes on the side. So good!
