Garlic Bacon Brussels Sprouts + Country Crock Giveaway
***The winner of this giveaway is: jedoggett. Thanks for everyone who entered
__________________________________________________________________________________
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs brussels sprouts
1 tablespoon Country Crock Calcium Plus Vitamin D
5 slices bacon (I used a precooked, just heat in the microwave variety)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
1. Slice the end off of the brussels sprouts and cut in half.
2. Boil in water until fairly soft but not overcooked. This took about 12 minutes.
3. Drain water from sprouts and add Country Crock, garlic and chopped pieces of bacon.
4. Cook for about 5 minutes more until browned and the bacon is crispy.
This recipe turned out very well and my husband and I both enjoyed it. The bacon provided a smoky taste that I would definitely recommend.
It includes:
Harvest Pumpkin Tiny Taper Holders, Set of 4
Italian Scalloped Bakers, 10" x 6"
13” Wire Baker Rack
This is a very quick giveaway because the winner needs to be turned in ASAP.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for two reasons: the food and Black Friday. Yes, my dad and I are some of those crazy people out standing in the freezing cold at 5 AM. Thanksgiving food is delicious but can also be very rich. I created a recipe using Country Crock spread to add some green to your meal which providing some awesome flavors. It is not super light due to the bacon but for 1 1/2 lbs of vegetables, there is only 5 small slices of bacon.
I do not like the feeling of being extremely full after a meal and filling up on a lighter vegetable recipe like this could help avoid those overly full feelings that make you want to nap.
For some tasty looking Thanksgiving vegetable recipes using Country Crock products check out the Country Crock Chronicle. The roasted cauliflower is calling my name!
