Musco Family Olive Co. Giveaway
I have always been a huge olive fan but hate that they are so high in sodium. The fat in olives is healthy fat source but the salt content always made me limit my serving to 2-3 olives due to my salt sensitivity. Recently, I came across the Musco Family Olive Co. which is a California based company that makes Early California and Pearls olives.
Many times, reduced sodium products are not very tasty and I was a bit worried that these olives would not taste good. Boy, was I wrong! They are awesome. I tried the Pearls reduced sodium pimiento stuffed olives. These have 75% less sodium than the traditional olives. One serving contains 70 milligrams of sodium which is not bad at all.
These tasted slightly different than the regular sodium-filled olives but still had that salty flavor. I will definitely be buying these again and will no longer be buying regular olives. Seriously, these had that big of an effect on me that I will not be going back to my typical olives and I am so happy to have found much lower sodium olives.
