Hot New Whole Foods Products Review

I was recently contacted to try some new products that are brand new to Whole Foods. Um, yes!! They are a mixture of breakfast products. I love that they are whole grain and healthy.

Here are some of the products that I was sent and my opinions of them:
  • Organic Banana Bread Love Crunch from Nature’s Path -- Go bananas over the latest Love Crunch granola creation, made with organic bananas, hemp seeds, pecans, cinnamon and Fair Trade™ certified milk chocolate.
This was my favorite product of the ones that I was sent.  It is healthy and tastes just like banana bread. I sprinkled some into my vanilla yogurt and it made the perfect breakfast. If you love banana bread, you will love this cereal.
  • 365 Everyday Value Flax Milk -- Gluten-free, dairy-free, soy and nut free, flax milk is a pleasantly tasty and sweet milk alternative to suit all kinds of special diets. In addition, flax seeds are a good source of Omega-3 Fatty acids.
I had never tried flax milk before but eat ground flax seed 5 days a week in my oatmeal. I tried this milk plain and was not a fan at all. It was watery tasting and too sweet. I decided to bake it into some peanut butter chocolate chip muffins that I was making for my husband and it turned out really well. I would not drink this milk plain but would use it for cooking.

  • Arrowhead Mills Sprouted Corn Flakes -- This classic breakfast cereal has been reinvented with a blend of organic sprouted corn, organic brown rice and organic sorghum. These crunchy flakes deliver 33 grams of whole grains per serving – talk about jumpstarting your day!
I really enjoyed this corn cereal which tasted similar to other corn cereals. It was perfect with some milk for a yummy breakfast. It has been made with whole grains which makes it a smarter option than other corn flake cereals.

The other products that I tried were also tasty. I love mixing my cereals together and the Natures Path Heritage Muesli and the Erewhon cereal made great breakfast additions.
Have you tried any delicious new breakfast foods?
