Downtown Detroit Fun

Many people have a negative perception of Detroit and in many ways, so did I. The past two Friday nights, we have gone downtown and saw how amazing it really is. We went to a free concert on the Detroit riverfront. The following week, we went out to dinner at an awesome restaurant called Finn and Porter (on Groupon Now FYI) and had a glass of wine on the Detroit riverfront.

    I've never been to downtown Detroit before, but I watch Hardcore Pawn, so I definitely have a skewed perception of it (hey, it's a guilty pleasure)! I'm always a benefit-of-the-doubt kinda girl though, so I wouldn't mind checking it out for myself! :)
