I love my engagement ring. It is not a diamond as the main stone because it would have been too expensive. It is a sapphire. I was born in the month of September and I love sapphire. I love the ring because my husband gave it to me and he designed it with the thought of my birthday behind it.

ReplyDeletemy favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring and soon my wedding band too. it is a family heirloom that was originally my great grandmother's set and she wore them for over 60 years. she wanted them to go to me so my dad gave them to my fiance to propose to me with. The set is stunning and its kind of amazing that they fit perfectly without having to re-size at all even thought i have a size 10 ring

My absolute favorite piece of jewelery is the ring that I never take off. It is Black Hills gold, with a very dark heart cut amethyst. My parents were older when they had me, and after they found out they were having me, and found out when the due date was, my father took my mother out to pick out a gift from him. The ring popped out to her, because of the deep quality of the amethyst, and it didn't hurt that it was my birthstone. This was the first expensive gift that my father ever gave my mother, and though they aren't with me anymore, wearing this ring brings me a little closer to them.
