Manna Organics Review and Giveaway
I am a big fan of Manna Bread and have been for about 2 years now. You can take a look at my first and second raving reviews. I was able to choose 4 products to try so I chose some of my favorites along with the new to me organic trail mix.
Now let me give you some information from the company on this bread so you know how it is different from other breads: It’s not really bread. It can be best described as a meal of whole sprouted grains, moist and denser than bread. Muffin- or cakelike in consistency. Baked at low temperatures for a short time – almost raw. Nothing like other sprouted breads out there! It doesn’t rise, has no yeast, no salt, no flour, no oils. Very delicious and different.
My three favorite flavors of this bread is millet rice which is not very sweet, fruit and nut which has big crunchy chunks of nuts in it, and banana walnut which is sweeter and tasty. These breads have amazing nutrition facts that I can eat knowing that I am putting good stuff in my body. It is made with 100% sprouted whole grains. It has no added sweeteners, salt, or oil. Each serving is 140 calories, 6 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, 27 g carbohydrates, and 1 gram of fat. I love that this bread is only semi-sweet and is very chewy and moist. It is awesome on its own or smeared with PB or margarine.
I tried the trail mix and thought that is was alright. I was not too impressed with the flavors but it was not bad. I will continue to be a huge fan of this bread and get excited every time I get to have a little slice. Thanks Manna for making a bread that not only tastes great but is full of great ingredients and keeps me feeling full as well.
