Probar Review and Giveaway

I love trying new kinds of bars and when I saw the PB and J bars and the peanut butter chocolate chip bars made by Probar, I knew I must try them. They are made with organic ingredients and are mainly raw.  The products are vegan and can be used for a meal replacement.

When I requested these particular products, I was not aware of the amount of calories that they had. Each PB and J one has 370 calories.  This is many more calories than I would look for in a bar. I tried the bar regardless and found out that it was delicious, like really delicious. It had oats, whole almonds, peanuts, and raspberries. I ate about half of the bar and was extremely satisfied.  It is perfect for on the go. I loved how chunky it was. Each one has 9 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber which is excellent. They are made with real ingredients too,
My husband recently got a teaching job (yay!!) and is super busy during the day. I sent these with him to work to eat if he does not have time to eat his lunch.  This is a great meal replacement for him that tastes excellent.
If you are looking for a lower calorie option, they also make a line called Fruition.  These come in many fruit flavors and are around 160 calories each.  The cran-raspberry one is tasty and is made with cranberries, raspberries, dates, and chia seeds. It has 3 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber.

    The fruition. I love me some chocolate and sweet flavored bars, but have yet to find one that satisfies the non-super-sweet tooth in me.
