Jonathan's Spoons Review and Giveaway
I love to cook and try out new kitchen equipment and tools. I found Jonathan's Spoons in a magazine and became quickly interested. These spoons are made of cherry wood and are excellent quality. For my review, I was sent the original lazy spoon, wiggle spoon, large spatula, and chowder spoon to test out.
Here is some information about the company: "My collection of handcrafted cherry wood utensils has evolved over 30 years of experimentation in the woodshop and kitchen. These spoons can serve anything, from soup to spaghetti, pudding to pie; they can spread, scoop, strain, whisk, ladle, grab, cut, peel, paddle, or pour. Use them at the stove or on the table. I hope you'll enjoy the balance, function and quality we have built into every utensil and that they will serve you with pleasure for many years."
I like all of the spoons that I was sent but my favorite is definitely the lazy spoon (second from the left). It goes on the edge of a pot and stays there. Because it is not metal or plastic, it does not get too hot or melt. I hate having to set a spoon down on the counter and it gets sauce or something all over. This helps keep your counters clean and keeps your spoon right where you need it.
The other spoons that I reviewed are all also a nice quality. The wiggle spoon is fun with the squiggle design. The chowder spoon is great for soups in the winter. These spoons would make a great holiday gift for the person in your life who loves to cook. The utensils are nice looking and would be really fun in a gift basket with other cooking items.
