Double Beauty Review

 I was first contacted by Deborah Lippman back in May to try out their new summer shades and loved them.  For this review, I chose 1 summer shade and 1 fall one.  The yellow color is called Yellow Brick Road and the dark red is called Single Ladies.  I love both of these colors. The yellow looked great with a sundress and the red one would look great on a date night out.  What I really love about Deborah Lippmann nail polishes is that they stay on a long time and don't chip.  This is really important for me because as a professional at work, I do not like to have chipped polish. The polish retails for $16 and is worn by many celebrities. I love this polish!


2. Gilchrist & Soames BeeKind
I love to try new beauty products all the time.  I was sent the shower tote from Gilchrist & Soames BeeKind for review. This package of body products retails for $35.  I was sent the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion.  The first thing I noticed besides the clean and crisp packaging of the bottles was the fresh scent of the products. "With a fresh lemon verbena fragrance, extracts of honey, and certified organic extracts of red clover, calendula, lemongrass and chamomile, BeeKind™ is as soothing as it is stylish."  Not only do the products smell good but they also work really well.  The lotion is moisturizing and the shampoo and conditioner leave your hair clean.  The products came in a fun green shower tote which I am going to give to my sister who is start college in a few weeks! Also, Gilchrist & Soames supports honey bee and sustainable pollination research at the University of California at Davis Entomology Department by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the BeeKind™ Collection to the University's Honey Bee Research Program." What a great contribution! I have really enjoyed using these products!
