Tavern Direct Review and Giveaway

Tavern Direct is a company that sells many different oils, vinegars, marinades, grilling sauces, etc.  I was very lucky to get to review four of their balsamic vinegars.  Since middle school, I have been a huge fan of balsamic vinegar and use it on many of my salads. I had never tried a flavored kind until now.

I opened up the Autumn Fig the other night and gave it a try drizzled over some green beans.  The vinegar was much thicker and more syrupy than other vinegars.  It was very tasty and slightly sweet.  My husband and I both enjoyed it a lot.  There is 40 calories per serving which is quite a bit higher than other balsamics but not too bad since you can use less due to the thicker consistency.  I can't wait to try the other flavors of vinegar! I'm sure that they will be great.

Giveaway
The giveaway will be for a Tavern Trio Box (seen below) from Tavern Direct.  The giveaway is open until Midnight on Tuesday March 15th. Winner will be chosen on Wednesday March 16th using Random.org. The winner will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen.

Visit the Tavern on the Green website and let me know which flavor of vinegar that you want to try the most.

    I watched their YouTube video called Summer Strawberry Marinated Grilled Chicken. I learned that you can use the balsamic vinegar as a marinade for the chicken. Then, chill the chicken and serve on a salad with fresh strawberries.
