Cranberry, Lemon and Orange Cider
Cranberry, Lemon and Orange Cider is the perfect non-alcoholic beverage for the holidays that is best served hot but is delicious cold as well! A mix of cranberry, lemon and orange juice with cinnamon and fresh fruit.
Growing up, my mom would make this drink all winter long for my siblings and I. We all loved the drink and I recently remembered about it and knew that I had to make it because it is so good. My mom made it with cinnamon hard candies instead of ground cinnamon like I used but both ways are great.
This beverage is great hot or cold and the flavors blend so well together. When I took my first sip when recipe testing, it reminded me of my childhood. I like my beverages tart so I use a decent amount of lemon juice in this but if you prefer no tartness in a beverage, you may want to reduce the amount of the lemon juice a bit.
As we head into colder weather, this drink is awesome on a cold day. It is great after going outside and playing in the snow when you want a hot beverage that is not coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
I have been enjoying it this fall as well when going to different fall events such as halloween events when it is chilly out or early morning walks. The busiest time of year is coming up: the holidays! While I love them, they certainly can be stressful with so much to do and so little time to it.
