Cajun Shrimp Boil Foil Packets
Cajun Shrimp Boil Foil Packets take just 20 minutes to make and are full of cajun flavor with shrimp, smoked sausage, corn and potatoes! They are made on the grill in an aluminum foil packet for a quick meal.
Foil packets have been one of my favorite things to make on the grill for years. They are so easy and when you throw dinner in an aluminum foil packet, dinner can be ready in 15-20 minutes. One of our favorite things to make in a foil packet are vegetables. We chop up whatever vegetables we have on hand, through some spices on them and make a homemade sauce. It is comparable to roasting vegetables but this way, you don't have to heat up your house on a hot day!

How to Make Cajun Shrimp Boil Foil Packets
For many years, I have seen bloggers post about having a shrimp boil. Here in Michigan, I had never heard of such a thing. I think it may be a thing done more in beach areas. A lot of people like making a shrimp boil- also known as a lowcountry boil- for trips to the beach and for vacation. I decided to make a similar recipe to a shrimp boil but my version only takes 20 minutes to make.
Cajun Shrimp Boil Foil Packets Ingredients
I had a hankering for some cajun flavored food so I used a cajun seasoning which makes this dish full of flavor. Traditional shrimp boil ingredients include sausage, shrimp, corn on the cob and potatoes which I used in this recipe. It is so delicious- I highly recommend making this for an easy and delicious dinner. Pair with a veggie if you're like me and love your vegetables with your meal.
My husband and I love tag-teaming dinner in the summer. He is off of work as a teacher so we have more time together which is my favorite. I may do the chopping and he does the grilling. Dinner comes together in no time when two people are working together. My daughter loved this meal too. I would make it again for sure! My husband is Mexican and loves these kind of smoky and delicious flavors.
