Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Ice Cream
This Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Ice Cream takes 2 minutes to make, tastes just like ice cream and is super healthy!
This "ice cream" is only made with bananas, chocolate protein powder and powdered peanut butter. I used powdered peanut butter and was worried that it may taste too healthy but it didn't at all. This ice cream is actually completely healthy though so it could actually be eaten for breakfast too. Ice cream for breakfast = a win!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Ice Cream
Ingredients:
3 bananas, frozen in slices
1/4 cup powdered peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Directions:
1. Place frozen banana slices in a food processor and puree until smooth.
2. Add in the powdered peanut butter and chocolate protein powder and continue to process.
3. Serve right away or place in a container and freeze.
*Tip: if you freeze it for about an hour, you can scoop it out like ice cream a lot easier.
This ice cream turned out amazing. It is the perfect treat without being too indulgent. It had a very whipped and airy consistency; almost like whipped topping. I love banana soft serve ice cream which I have been making for years. Highly recommend!
